Criterion Based Assessment |
Student assessment is criterion based and measures student performance within criteria against specified standards. |

| Criteria | The criteria separate the knowledge, skills and competencies that are contained within courses that students are expected to acquire through their study. Criteria are linked to objectives. The criteria for courses developed before 2007 included a number of TCE generic criteria chosen from the following list and which describes the degree to which a person can:

For subjects with an external assessment component, 40 to 60% of the criteria are assessed externally. |
