What are the minimum subject requirements
for tertiary entrance in Western Australia?
In order to be considered for university admission a school leaver applicant
normally must have -
-
met the Secondary Graduation requirements prescribed by the
Curriculum Council. For the University of Western Australia it is
essential for school leaver applicants to have met the Secondary Graduation
requirements as prescribed. For Curtin University of Technology, Edith
Cowan University and Murdoch University it is highly desirable, but
not essential, for school leaver applicants to have met Secondary
Graduation requirements, and
-
achieved competence in English as prescribed by the individual
universities, and
-
obtained a sufficiently high TER for entry to a particular
university and/or course, and
-
satisfied any prerequisites or special requirements necessary
to be considered for entry to particular courses.
