What are the minimum subject requirements for tertiary entrance in Western Australia?

In order to be considered for university admission a school leaver applicant normally must have -

  1. met the Secondary Graduation requirements prescribed by the Curriculum Council. For the University of Western Australia it is essential for school leaver applicants to have met the Secondary Graduation requirements as prescribed. For Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University it is highly desirable, but not essential, for school leaver applicants to have met Secondary Graduation requirements, and

  2. achieved competence in English as prescribed by the individual universities, and

  3. obtained a sufficiently high TER for entry to a particular university and/or course, and

  4. satisfied any prerequisites or special requirements necessary to be considered for entry to particular courses.
