- Curriculum Framework under development to take account of stages of schooling, including middle years
- Curriculum In Action program: One manager and 5 project officers currently being recruited to support curriculum implementation in the Middle Years
- Major professional development activity focusing on Literacy in the Middle Years currently being organised
- Middle Schools projects running in some schools
