4. Reporting at the End of the Compulsory Years In the compulsory years, schools report internally four times a year, with at least two of them being in writing. The purpose is parental information and feedback for students. Such reports are used by students when transferring across schools and across systems. Commencing from this year, end of Year 10 certificates will also be reported internally. Schools are planning to provide grades or points out of 20 or a level in terms of continua of outcomes or a combination of these, for each learning area.
