Consultation on Draft Australian curriculum

The draft Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education (HPE) Foundation (known as Kindergarten in NSW) to Year 10 was released by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) on 8 December 2012, for national consultation until 12 April 2013.

The Board of Studies consulted with teachers and the public about the draft Australian curriculum for HPE during Term 12013 and coordinated feedback for the NSW response to ACARA.

Consultation on Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education (HPE)

The Draft Shape Paper for Health and Physical Education (HPE) was released by ACARA for national consultation from 15 March to 3 June 2012.

The Board consulted with teachers and the public during term 2, 2012 through an online survey, meetings with teacher focus groups in metropolitan and regional NSW, and a Health and Physical Education reference group. The Board’s online survey closed on 3 June 2012.

Feedback received by the Board of Studies contributed to the NSW response to ACARA.
