School Certificate (Year 10)

What documents do students receive?

All students who successfully complete the School Certificate receive a School Certificate Folio to hold their Board of Studies credentials and other important documents acquired during their time at school, such as school reports and references.

From 2006, the Board of Studies credentials comprise the School Certificate testamur and Record of Achievement.

Record of Achievement

This shows:

  • the courses studied
  • the grades awarded by the school for each course
  • a statement regarding completion of the mandatory requirements
  • the student's results in the statewide School Certificate tests.

The School Certificate documents issued by the Board of Studies provide detailed information on a student's achievements at school, however they do not include information on how punctual a student is or his/her attitude to work. Further information, including attendance details and attitude towards study, may be contained in the documents issued by the student's school. These usually include school reports, references and documents relating to work experience and community involvement.

Information can be accessed here regarding School Certificate documents issued to students prior to 2006.
