David Hansen
David studied 3 Unit Music at Newington College, which he attended on a full choral scholarship after having sung for two years with the St Andrew's Cathedral Choir. He has played the violin and viola in the school's chamber and symphony orchestras and has sung with the College's chapel and chamber choirs. As a soloist, David has performed at numerous concerts including works by Mozart, Charpentier and Handel. He has received many awards at eisteddfods and was awarded the A.Mus.A in singing. He has commenced a Bachelor of Music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, majoring in performance. He is accompanied tonight by Lauris Hansen (piano).
