Sam Parker
Sam began playing the whistle two years ago when his grandfather decided to make one after seeing Riverdance. Sam completed Music 2 Unit Course 1 at Bega High School, having learnt to play the guitar and drums in primary school. He won the Bega High School talent quest in 1998 and received a music award for his work in the Big Gig. Sam learnt the Riverdance piece from a tape and taught himself the finer techniques of playing by listening. Sam would like to complete a Sport and Recreation Traineeship and work as a camp counseler or in a USA summer camp Sam is accompanied this evening by his sister, Naomi.
