Jeremy Rose

Jeremy Rose formed his first jazz sextet in primary school, playing both the piano and clarinet, and later began studying jazz saxophone. He has toured the United Kingdom and Finland with the school band and, as part of the school stage band and combo, he has played regularly at the Manly and Merimbula Jazz Festivals. In 2001 Jeremy formed his own quintet. Jeremy hopes to take his music studies as far as possible, planning to do a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. His ambition is to become one of Australia’s best jazz musicians, excelling both at performing and composing.
