Greg Taylor
Greg started studying the bassoon at the age of 12. He also plays saxophone and the piano. In 2002 he attained his AMusA while studying Music Extension for his Higher School Certificate. Greg has played principal bassoon in various orchestras including the Sydney Youth Orchestra, the North Sydney orchestra and the SBS Youth Orchestra and has also toured China with the Turramurra Wind Ensemble. Greg plans to complete his Bachelor of Music in Performance degree then travel to Germany to continue his bassoon studies, with the aim of becoming a professional performer both as an orchestral player and soloist. John Martin accompanies Greg on piano.
