Ann Beilby

Ann has been playing violin and viola for ‘practically all of her life’ and would like to keep on doing so as a soloist and as an ensemble or orchestra member. She is a past winner of the McDonald’s Performing Arts Challenge in open age violin and open age viola, winner of the 2003 Kui-ring-gai NSW Secondary Schools Concerto Competition in the senior section, and winner of the City of Sydney open age violin (2000) and viola (2003) awards. Ann has attained her AMusA and LMusA in violin and her AMusA in viola with distinction. Her teacher is Alex Todicescu. In 2004 she has begun a Bachelor of Music at Sydney Conservatorium. Sorina Zamfir will accompany Ann on piano.
