Chris Clark
The Illawarra Grammar School
Chris has been learning guitar since he was six and has completed Steps 1 and 2 of the AMEB’s Contemporary Popular Music Syllabus. Jazz classes at the Wollongong Conservatorium and an enlightening workshop with Tommy Emmanuel have enhanced his studies. Chris has distinguished himself in the school jazz band and at a number of competitions. He plans on becoming a professional musician and knows how much hard work this will take. However, hard work has never stopped him having fun with his music and revelling in its power to bring people together. Chris performs with Ben Barttlet (nylon guitar), Chad Dickson (bass), Danniel Pim (congas) and Sally Wiggins (eggshaker/drum kit).
