Aaron Waters
Sydney Technical High School
Aaron has been playing the piano for ten years and the flute for eight. He has been a member of the school concert band throughout this time and now plays keyboard for church bands. He has also been sound mixing at church services for four years. Despite his excellence in performance, Aaron’s principal interest is in composition, particularly for computer games, films and multimedia. Praise and worship music is another of Aaron’s particular interests and he studied in this area for his HSC musicology elective. Aaron does not plan to make music his principal career but he is sure it will remain a big part of his life. Grandpa Rag was inspired by Aaron’s grandfather, a self-taught pianist, and will be performed by Andrew Wibowo, a Year 11 student from Sydney Technical High School.
