Leeane Zhang
Conservatorium High School
Leeane was born and raised in Shanghai, China. She started learning to play the piano at four. At eight she had already performed solo at the Shanghai District First Music Festival. Leeane completed examinations to the penultimate level in Shanghai before emigrating to Australia in 1999 and she has continued her music studies here. Leeane has been a regular winner at the McDonald’s Performing Arts Challenge among other eisteddfods. Although she is unsure of her future vocation, Leeane is certain that piano will always play an important part in her life.
