Daniel Ong
Sydney Grammar School
In 2001, Daniel attained his AMusA in piano. The following year he attained his LMusA as well as AMEB Grade 6 in Musicianship with Honours (2002). Throughout High School, he was the Keyboard, Brass and Overall winner of the form in the Sydney Grammar School Eisteddfod and chose to study music for the HSC as it ‘offered the opportunity of expanding my knowledge of music’s varied history and styles’. Daniel will continue to compose and perform recreationally as he begins a career in medicine. He wishes to thank the following teachers for his achievement in Music: Kim Waldock, Zara Bulatov and Prof. Victor Markarov. Daniel is accompanied on piano by Jonathan Ong.
