Remote-controlled Steam Launch

Andrew wanted to attempt a project which had not been done before. The result was this remotecontrolled steam launch. Andrew made all the parts by hand and carried out extensive testing and modification to ensure that the engine and remote control operated reliably. The model will be displayed in Andrew’s home and demonstrated at model club events. Andrew chose the Design and Technology subject because he enjoys working on custom projects.
