Hand-painted Theatrical Costume

Anne-Louise’s project combined her interest in textiles, painting and costume design. Handpainting silk, using machine embroidery techniques, and finding suitable dyes for the silk were some of her challenges. Anne-Louise found the Design and Technology subject a good release for her creative ideas and energy, and she hopes to follow a career in design or fine art.
