‘DeFibSim 2001’ – Software program to Support Training with External Defibrillators

Yvan has an interest in software development and wanted to create a training program that would improve the treatment of cardiac patients. His DefibSim 2001 is designed to train people in using defibrillators — the apparatus which uses an electric shock to restore normal heart rhythm. Yvan chose the Design and Technology subject to prepare for a career in software development.
