A keen surfer, Michael wanted to design a housing for a video camera so that he could film out in the ocean. As well as being waterproof, the housing had to be more stylish than existing products on the market. Michael carried out extensive testing to find suitable materials and to develop handles that would grip securely in the surf. With several orders for his design, Michael’s career as an industrial designer looks promising.
