‘The Flat Mate’ – Modular Furniture Matthew’s ‘Flatmate’ is ingeniously designed multi-functional furniture that can be transformed from side tables to stacked shelves to corner shelves, to suit the space and the need. The major challenges were finding a way to lock the units together for each mode and ensuring the modes were proportionate to their functions. Matthew plans to pursue industrial design at university. |
