‘Cordelia’ – Theatrical Costume for King Lear

A career in fashion design is the goal of the designer of this aesthetically pleasing and wholly functional costume. Hearing that her school’s Drama department couldn’t afford the costumes for a performance of King Lear, Zaneta took on the challenge of creating a striking costume for Cordelia that could be worn easily on stage. Finding appropriate hooping wires proved to be one of Zaneta’s greatest challenges, and she has designed the costume so its elements can be recycled for other school plays.
