How can I convert my old Macintosh Motorised Markbook v3.x markbooks for use in v6.0?

This Macintosh-only utility is also on the CD-ROM when you purchase
the program.
For a number of years, many schools have used the (Macintosh only)
v3.0 or v3.1. This small drag-and-drop utility automates the process
of converting these old markbooks into Motorised Markbook v6.0 compatible
format.

Step 1 - Download the file Convert_v3_files.hqx and unarchive it onto your hard disk.
(You may need Aladdin Systems (free) utility Stuffit Expander for Macintosh to decompress this file if you don't already have it.

Step 2 - Make a backup of your original v3.x files.

Step 3 - Drag your v3.x files on top of the Convert 3.x files icon.

Step 4 - Open these markbooks in v6.0 and save them as v6.0 files.
If you wish to open them in the Windows version of Motorised Markbook v6.0, you must then export them by selecting Save as Text File, copy them to a Windows-formatted disc, open your Windows version of Motorised Markbook v6.0 and select Import Macintosh File.
Save your new markbook before continuing to work on the file.
