Students Online: What you need to know!

Students Online is the Board's new web site for HSC students. It's a one-stop study shop that puts all the Board's HSC resources at your fingertips.

The best thing is that you choose your own content, like past exam papers and syllabuses relating to your own subjects, and organise the shape of the page to suit yourself.

How do I get in?

You can see a lot of the general information right now: by going to Students Online. The real fun begins when you get your 4-digit personal identification number (PIN) from your school and log in. Letters for every HSC student arrived in schools in June.

How do I make my own Students Online page?

  1. Enter your student ID
  2. Enter your PIN
  3. Start designing your own HSC page – move the pods around to suit yourself

Why should I log in?

Firstly, because it's all about youyour subjects, your exam timetable, your 'To Do' list to plan your study. You can even add external links like your favourite search engine, the home page of an author you're studying, or maybe your basketball comp's draw page to remind you there's more to life than study!

The Co-op bookshop

Secondly, because every new user has a chance to receive one of the $50 vouchers kindly donated to the Board by the University Co-operative Bookshops Limited.

Krystel Gabuat, of St Andrews College (Breakfast Road Campus), Marayong, among the second batch of 5000 students to log in, Emily Rahme, of Bethlehem College, Ashfield, in the first 5000 students, and Ashlee Walker, of Beverly Hills Girls High School (the 1000th student to log in), are the first three students to receive a voucher. One student will be randomly selected for a voucher from each batch of 5000 new users until November 30 2008.
