Entertainment Industry Curriculum Framework – Stage 6 Syllabus – Part B
As a result of a new version of the Training Package (CUE03v3.1), the following changes apply for implementation with Year 11 students from 2012:
Examinable units of competency (refer to Entertainment Industry Syllabus Modification History):
- Source and apply entertainment industry knowledge (CUEIND01D replaces CUEIND01C) – changes to unit of competency and minor change to HSC requirements and advice
- Apply a general knowledge of lighting to work activities (CUFLGT101A) – minor change to HSC requirements and advice.
Other units of competency:
- Assist with sound recordings (CUSSOU201A) replaces Record sound (CUSSOU04A)
- Follow occupational health and safety procedures (CUSOHS301A) added
- Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices (BSBSUS201A) added
- Develop and update music industry knowledge (CUSBGE01A), Use and adapt to changes in technology (CUSGEN01A) and Move and set up instruments and equipment (CUSSOU01A) deleted.
