Primary Industries Performance Band descriptions
The Performance Band descriptions shown on the following page represent student
performance in bands of achievement. They illustrate the typical examination
performance of students in the Primary Industries (240 indicative hours) course.
Each band contains descriptions of student achievement of the course outcomes.
The scales will continue to be refined to include information from performance
in the new HSC courses.
The typical performance in this band:

industry and enterprise terminology to communicate in
a manner appropriate to the audience and situation in
the workplace.

Demonstrates a thorough understanding
and application of the performance required in a range
of work tasks, plant and equipment.

relevant to specific competencies.

Consistently and reliably applies the
skills required to perform primary industry operations.

of legislation, regulations and practices as they apply
to primary industries.

of the organisation of work operations, the sequencing
