VET Course Mapping Tools for SBA/SBT
The school-based apprenticeship/traineeship (SBA/T) HSC VET course mapping tools can be used by schools and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to:
- map the school-based training component of a students SBA/T training plan into HSC VET courses
- help principals to list the HSC VET course(s) to be studied for the HSC training component of the SBA/T
- help principals certify that the training plan can be packaged into appropriate HSC VET courses.

School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships in Stage 5
School-based apprenticeships and traineeships are available to Stage 5 students in schools and TAFE NSW colleges.

Adding Units of Competency to HSC VET courses for SBA/SBT
Units of competency in the HSC training component of a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship training plan that are not included in the appropriate HSC course(s) may be added to the relevant HSC VET course.
