Training Pathways Planning
Planning tools to assist schools in planning training pathways from Stage 5 into Stage 6 and post-school have been developed to support the implementation of VET in Stage 5. These include a template for a Training Pathway Planning Tool and illustrative samples in a range of industry areas.
Training Pathways Planning Tool
The training pathways planning tool is a part of the notification form. It is designed to assist schools in ensuring that VET courses undertaken by Stage 5 students create pathways that allow students the opportunity to achieve higher levels of training and VET qualifications by the time they complete their schooling and maximise further training and employment opportunities post-school.

- Animal Care - Early commencement of a Stage 6 VET Board Endorsed Course in Year 10
- Hairdressing - Early commencement of a Stage 6 VET Board Endorsed Course in Year 10
- Hospitality - Early commencement of an Industry Curriculum Framework in Year 10
- Information Technology - Early commencement of an Industry Curriculum Framework in Year 9
- Manufacturing Pathways/Construction - School Certificate Board Endorsed Course offered to Year 9 followed by Early Commencement in Year 10
- Rural Operations - School Certificate Board Endorsed Course offered to Year 10
