Board of Studies consultation reports and the NSW response to ACARA about the Draft K-10 Australian curriculum for English, mathematics, science and history
The Board of Studies conducted consultation with teachers and the wider community on the draft Australian curriculum for K-10 English, mathematics, science and history, focusing on the suitability of the draft curriculum and its implementation in NSW schools.
Consultation reports include feedback that was obtained from over 1500 participants who attended meetings and videoconferences held across NSW during March 2010. Respondents also completed the Board’s online survey and provided written submissions. The consultation reports informed the NSW response which was sent to ACARA.
The NSW Response, coordinated by the Board of Studies, includes feedback from the DET, other sectors in NSW and professional associations.
