Background
The Board of Studies is developing K–10 syllabuses for English, Mathematics, Science and History. The syllabuses include the Australian curriculum and retain many of the features familiar to NSW teachers.
The first round of consultation on the draft K–10 syllabuses ended on 16 September 2011. Feedback was obtained from stakeholders who attended consultation meetings, provided written submissions, and responded to the Board’s online survey. Read the Consultation Reports from round 1.
The draft K–10 syllabuses have been revised in light of feedback from the first round of consultation and will be the focus of a second round of consultation from 13 February to 30 April 2012.
