This unique website brings together the latest and most reliable information and statistics on drugs and alcohol, including related heath and social issues.
The online resource directly links to the PDHPE curriculum and offers students a short-cut to accessing relevant information for assessment work. The A-Z of drugs is a popular feature. The website is supported by a collection of hard copy drug and alcohol resources available in all NSW public libraries. This is an initiative of the State Library of NSW and Community Drug Strategies Branch, NSW Health.

State Library of NSW Legal information access centre
The section 'HSC legal studies' provides access to Legal Studies Research Guides on all NSW legal studies syllabus topics. Rescources are specifically selected for students and teachers and include web resources, textbooks, and journal and newspaper articles. It also includes a legal studies New Watch blog which flags changes to the law, news about legal issues, and prominent court cases.
Online HSC resources from home
The State Library provides NSW teachers, parents and students free access to thousands of online resources and full text articles, relevant to all HSC subject areas, from the convenience of home. The resources includes: local and international newspapers, journals, magazines, rare books, and literary and film resources – many of which are not freely available online. To gain online access, simply register for a readers' card.

This ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) website includes direct references to topics in the NSW Years 7-10 Commerce syllabus, including links to pages throughout the ASIC websites that are relevant to specific topics and learning outcomes in the syllabus. Teachers and students may also download a 12-page PDF file of those syllabus links from this page.
