Drug info @ your library: This unique website brings together the latest and most reliable information and statistics on drugs and alcohol, including related heath and social issues.
The online resource directly links to the PDHPE curriculum and offers students a short-cut to accessing relevant information for assessment work. The A-Z of drugs is a popular feature. The website is supported by a collection of hard copy drug and alcohol resources available in all NSW public libraries. This is an initiative of the State Library of NSW and Community Drug Strategies Branch, NSW Health.

: School A to Z; School A to Z offers practical help for parents of all school-aged children, on topics ranging from homework and study, to technology, wellbeing and health issues for students.

: Stay up-to-date with documents as they are published on the Board of Studies NSW website in more than 26 subjects or categories by subscribing to RSS news feeds from our News Page, or simply viewing and searching for documents in publication date order.

: The section 'HSC legal studies' provides access to Legal Studies Research Guides on all NSW legal studies syllabus topics. Rescources are specifically selected for students and teachers and include web resources, textbooks, and journal and newspaper articles. It also includes a legal studies New Watch blog which flags changes to the law, news about legal issues, and prominent court cases.

Online HSC resources from home: The State Library provides NSW teachers, parents and students free access to thousands of online resources and full text articles, relevant to all HSC subject areas, from the convenience of home. The resources includes: local and international newspapers, journals, magazines, rare books, and literary and film resources – many of which are not freely available online. To gain online access, simply register for a readers' card.


UniServe Science: Funded by The University of Sydney through the Faculty of Science. The various sections of this website contain information about, and links to resources for a wide range of topics across the science disciplines suitable for staff teaching from kindergarten through to tertiary level.

: The Australian government environmental portal, including environmental educational information, kits, resources, brochures, fact sheets, reading lists for teachers, teachers notes and display materials.

: Australian Bureau of Statistics - Education Services; The Australian Bureau of Statistics - Education Services website includes free resources for teachers and students to actively assist schools in meeting statistical needs across the education curriculum. There are NSW curriculum based classroom activities for Years 7-10 in the areas of Mathematics, Commerce and Economics and Geography.

: This ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) website includes direct references to topics in the NSW Years 7-10 Commerce syllabus, including links to pages throughout the ASIC websites that are relevant to specific topics and learning outcomes in the syllabus. Teachers and students may also download a 12-page PDF file of those syllabus links from this page.

: A website for teachers of Stage 6 vocational education courses. Developed and managed by teachers for teachers, the site provides useful teaching resources and enables teachers to keep up to date with current industry practice.

: Racism No Way; The Racism. No Way! website is a national response to countering racism in Australian schools, managed by the Multicultural Programs Unit of the NSW Department of Education and Training. Resources and practical strategies for use by school communities are provided.

: NSW Ombudsman; The NSW Ombudsman's website includes information on the history and role of the Ombudsman in the pursuit of justice, in relation to NSW government agencies and community services. It also has free fact sheets on complaint handling and investigation skills, as well as recent reports on public interest social issues.
