Syllabus, Support Documents and
Student Work Samples

This CD-ROM includes the Creative Arts K-6 Syllabus (in both PDF and Word formats); Units of Work in each stage for Visual Arts, Music, Drama and Dance; the Principal's Package; an Introduction to the Syllabus for Parents and Community Members; and advice about School Planning in the Creative Arts. It also contains student work samples in Visual Arts, Music, Drama and Dance which should be of great interest to school communities in coming to terms with outcomes, content and standards based assessment in the Creative Arts.

A selection of work samples is included in the areas of Performing in Music, Drama and Dance; Organising Sound in Music; Composing in Dance and Making in Drama. In Visual Arts a slide show of artworks in selected units is also included.
